Until 5 or 6 years ago I was only vaguely familiar with Mr. Angelo. I had heard of him and was aware of his unique playing style with the two-guitar neck etc...But his music was not readily accessible when I was growing up Pre-Inter-Web. Then I was at a guitar show in Texas and Michael was set up to meet and greet and he played several sets. First, he is one of the kindest blokes you will ever meet. I bought an arm load of his CD's from him and he gave me several of his signature guitar picks for free. He was doing a medley of his version of covers songs and it was amazing. Since then I have gone to Amazon to buy additional music of his and that brings me to his latest release. When I said technical and heavy, what I mean is there is shred on the album, but also heavy thrashy riffing. To top it all off the song writing is really incredible. His melody lines are so good that you don't even miss the vocals. Love the whole sci-fi theme/man/machine. Well done MAB. Thank you for the great music and for being such a gentleman. God Bless.
