Nicole (Nikki) is a young woman who is involved with a married man, Malcolm. And like all married men he keeps telling her he is "getting a divorce". Nikki can't wait until the day comes because she wants Malcolm all to herself. But things go sour with Malcolm after his wife and Nikki exchange words. Meanwhile Nikki is unhappy living at home with her moody mother Lolo. Changes at her job are not making life any easier either. Then add in drama from her best friend Tia and her con man boyfriend Lamar and Nikki's life is anything but boring. Tia leaves town with Lamar, after a series of crazy events and her and Nikki's friendship is never the same.Nikki meets Dondre "Dre" Hill and they are feeling each other and start to hook up. Eventually they start a relationship. Nikki finds it hard to trust any man and can't get used to having a man all her own. However Dre is not without drama either; he's got a 'psycho' baby momma, a Blackberry that is always ringing and very needy family members.
