Malevolent Creation is the be-all, end-all death metal band in my book. They started me down the path of metal madness and I never looked back. Now that that's out of the way...Dead Man's Path!! For as many years, and albums MC has been through, they never really strayed from the core of their sound. Heavy as hell, and ready to bull-doze you down. DMP doesn't disappoint in this respect. True to the death metal sound, structure, and deliverance. I almost rated this album 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't stand out as a Retribution, or Eternal, or Envenomed. But of the last 3 MC albums, which fall into the same category, this stands at the top.
